Best Luxury Hotels in Lake Garda

Lake Garda's most luxurious hotels include a hilltop hotel with captivating views and a historic resort destination for European royalty.

Lefay Resort & Spa Lago di Garda

Via Feltrinelli 136, Navazzo, Italy

The 93-room Lefay Resort and Spa Lago di Garda is an eco-friendly luxury hotel with spectacular views at every turn, three stylish and chic pools, and an underground cave-style spa. Rooms are spacious and stylish and come with balconies and large tubs. The remote location on a winding road may discourage guests from venturing out, especially in evenings.

Lido Palace

Viale Giosue' Carducci 10, Riva Del Garda, Italy

The 42-room Lido Palace is a luxury hotel set on stately grounds with views of Lake Garda and surrounding mountains. It’s a historic hotel turned modern with an innovative design that combines the historic stone base with glass architecture. The luxe rooms are comfortable and trendy with flat-screen TVs, minibars, free Wi-Fi, and often spectacular views, but they lack coffee- and tea-making facilities. The hotel offers a stylish spa, two restaurants, indoor and outdoor pools, a hot tub, and lovely gardens to relax in.

Aqualux Hotel Spa & Suite Bardolino

Via Europa Unita 24/B, Bardolino, Italy

The Aqualux is a luxury hotel and spa housed in a glassy and super modern building on the shores of Lake Garda. The 113-room hotel opened in 2012, and it aims to please: the grounds are beautifully landscaped, the free breakfast is excellent -- it even includes make-your-own juices -- and the on-site spa is superb. Even the most inexpensive rooms at the Aqualux have space to move around in, and all rooms include balconies. For a hotel of this caliber, Wi-Fi should be, but isn't free. The outdoor garden and numerous pools provide plenty of distraction. The hotel's minimalist aesthetic might not be for everyone, especially those who prefer a more rustic Mediterranean vacation.
