Calabash Luxury Boutique Hotel

Beach Lane, Lance aux Epines, Grenada

This 30-room luxury boutique hotel is located in an isolated cove with a quiet, tranquil white-sand beach. The light, airy suites feature contemporary decor and stylish bathrooms, and some offer private plunge pools. This family-operated property offers some personal touches, such as private breakfast served on your room’s deck. Two well-regarded restaurants, a pool, fitness center and spa with sweeping views are available, though most guests are content to relax on the palm-tree-shaded sand. Rooms do not have kitchens and many lack ocean views; those who prefer a self-catering option with terrific views in this price range should consider Maca Bana.

Maca Bana

Magazine Beach, P.O. Box 496, Point Salines, St. George's, Grenada

This seven-room, upscale boutique resort features one- and two-bedroom self-catering villas in a lush, jungle-like setting. The artfully rustic villas feature natural wood finishes, beautiful, well-stocked kitchens, and -- most importantly -- picturesque decks with private hot tubs and great views. Down a steep hill, there is a spacious beachfront restaurant and bar, as well as a quiet, tranquil beach.

Laluna Hotel

Morne Rouge, Grand Anse, Grenada

A bumpy back road leads to this eclectic, posh but laid-back boutique resort tucked away on a steep, leafy hillside on a peaceful, secluded beach. Laluna Hotel’s blend of Indonesian (teak daybeds, Balinese spa), Italian (pastas and wine), and breezy Caribbean elements mingle into a unique, effortless cool. The daily yoga classes, simple cottages, and organic garden help make this 16-room upscale resort the epitome of bohemian-chic.

True Blue Bay Boutique Resort

Old Mill Road, True Blue, Grenada

This 48-room, upper-middle-range waterfront resort has many great features for families, including two outdoor play areas, two pools, and a small waterslide. The rooms are colorful and contemporary, with flat-screen TVs and small kitchenettes. Known for its vibrant hues and quirky features, like a tiny microbrewery, True Blue is unique and fun – but it's lacking a true beach. There is just a small man-made sandy area, or guests can take a shuttle over to Grand Anse for a day in the sand.

Blue Horizons Garden Resort

Blue Horizons Garden Resort

The Lime, St. George's Grenada, Grand Anse, Curaçao

This casual, mid-range family-friendly resort offers 32 suites and studios, all with kitchenettes, sitting areas, and simple but modern island decor. The eco-friendly property is spread out over six acres of well-maintained tropical gardens, featuring a variety of birds. Two restaurants and a standard pool round out the offerings. Blue Horizons offers a decent value compared to some of the other nearby beachfront resorts, as long as you don’t mind a short walk to the beach.

The Flamboyant Hotel & Villas

The Flamboyant Hotel & Villas

Grand Anse Beach, 1 Morne Rouge, St George's, Grenada, Grenada

The highlight of the mid-range Flamboyant Hotel and Villas are its stunning views, peeking out from a hillside overlooking the beloved Grand Anse beach. Guests should be ready for a climb though, as the rooms are located up several steps on a steep incline. This friendly, laid-back, 67-room hotel offers good value, and features include a large pool, three restaurants, and a lovely stretch of beach. However, the buildings are a bit tired and the rooms and common areas could use some updates.
